Hi everyone! We are so excited to finally launch The Cord Co brand after keeping it under wraps for the last few months. It has been so rewarding to see to fruition our hardwork and present to you our product – simple but oh so useful – The Cord Co phone sling! Before we get overly excited to share our phone sling, we’d like to tell you abit about us…
Who are we?
We are a couple of regular folks based in Singapore who aren’t defined as a single identity. We see ourselves as a wife, a daughter, a member of the community, a desk-bound daydreamer, an adventurer and most recently for one of us, a mother. Our mission in life is straightforward - seek out new experiences, push ourselves out of our comfort zones and embrace the highs and the lows which life brings us. We yearn growth (hopefully not so much sideways but more experiences, wisdom, spiritual) and strive for simplicity and contentment.
We could go on forever but we are going to keep it short here and we look forward to sharing our stories over the next few posts.
Knowing what drives us was crucial in developing The Cord Co.
Let’s admit it, we can’t do without our handphones in this day and age. Yes, we can try to minimize our screen time but the phone has become the daily essential we cannot do without. Everything is done on the phone! Banking, ordering groceries, checking up on directions, emails, catching up with friends and family, Netflix and the list goes on!
Super guilty. But hey! 21% down from previous week!
We literally spend 23.5 hours a day within reach of our phones (the 0.5h accounts for bathroom time). If it isn't within reach, we find it abit uncomfortable as if something is amiss. We need our phones to be easily accessible, within reach, within sight and a phone case to provide adequate protection to this essential and not to mention expensive piece of modern technology.
This is where our phone sling ticks all the boxes. Our phone sling allows us to go hands-free without pockets by slinging it crossbody or on the shoulder, the cord is striking enough to spot and the phone case has raised bezel to protect from the daily abuses.
We just love the simplicity of the phone sling and the practicality of it. The phone sling does not take anything away from the phone but adds so much more functionality to it.
